Optimizing Businesses, The Fair Trade Way

The Problem
Working with a Certified Fair-Trade store, whose products have a minimum of 75% of retail goods coming from Fair Trade Certified artisans and producers, FSQ was tasked with improving business operations and enhancing the pertinence of fair trade through the client’s organization.
The Solution
To streamline the client’s business operations, we focused on a widespread digital and marketing transformation; this encompassed a new virtual volunteer sign-up process, constructing a brand guide, design elements, improving posting frequency, and a revamped social media calendar. Supplementarily, the FSQ team recommended a new point-of-sale (POS) provider to improve business transactions; reduce fees; and consist of a battery-powered, cloud-based terminal to prevent activity loss during outages.
The Impact
FSQ created numerous deliverables and recommendations which our client could immediately adopt to continue driving change. A pillar of the community, the client’s organization has long been an excellent example of an organization helping the fair-trade industry stay afloat and can now do so with a revitalized and sustainable platform.
